-Fusako R.

Living a fast-paced life, the ability to relax is so important. I have not found many people who can relax me. Mayumi's yoga class is one of a few places that I can count on when I need to escape from the rigors of life. She has the unique ability to identify what I need. Listening to her soft cues, moving my body with my breath, she takes me to my happy place. She is in my top-five list of those who can relax me.
-Corina K.

I first started taking yoga classes in the summer for something fun to do, In the yoga class, it was relaxing, yet you were doing exercises like stretching, leg work, and working your abs. At the end of each yoga class, there is a relaxing period. It is SO relaxing. When I left my first yoga class, I walked out feeling so good. The benefits I got from the class are that I am more flexible, I have learned good breathing habits for when I exercise, and I have better balance.

-Alex E.

Mayumi is a wonderful teacher who recognizes and responds to the needs of the class. She teaches with a blend of wisdom, skill and inspiration. I look forward to seeing her every week.
-Kelly A.

Mayumi teaches an excellent gentle yoga class. Each week she asks each student what parts of their body need work and then includes stretches that will help that body part. She includes in each class new poses and then asks if the class finds them beneficial. Her class really makes me more relaxed.
-Barbara C.

Being a single mom and working full time, stress is the nature of the game. After a long day, I can walk into yoga class and leave my worries behind for an hour. Mayumi has the uncanny ability to assess the participant’s needs and adjust the workout accordingly. The stress of the day is left behind as I concentrate on breathing and stretching, paying attention to what my body has to say. Like the waves of the ocean, the breathing exercises relax and energize at the same time. The benefits of yoga class bring a calmness and serenity that I take with me as I carry on my daily routine.
-Cindy C.

Mayumi’s hatha yoga classes help me feel tranquil and refreshed, no matter how tired and stressed I am. My over all strength and balance have also improved. Mayumi’s individualized instruction helps me get the most out of each session!
-Denise K.
