Detailed Downloading and Installation Instructions

Downloading is the process of transferring a file from a server on the Internet to your local machine. In this case, we are sending you the package you will need to run the Simplebean Health Guide on your personal computer.

The Simplebean Health Guide Installation package is sent to you as a ZIP archive (an archive format created by PKWARE, Inc.). All the files needed for installation on your personal computer are compressed into this single ZIP archive. A single, smaller ZIP archive can be downloaded quicker and managed easier than multiple, larger files.

The first thing you will see when downloading is a window asking you how you want to download the ZIP archive to your personal computer. You want to save the file to disk. When you click the OK button, another window will open asking you where you want to put the ZIP archive after it is downloaded. If you are not sure where to put it, you can put in on the desktop by clicking the desktop icon on the left of the window or selecting it from the dropdown control on the top of the window. If you have organized your own file system, then you will likely already know where you want to put it. In either case, select the directory and then click the Save button. Your display will then display a progress window while the file downloads from our server to your personal computer.

When the download is complete, you will have the option of opening the folder in which the file is now located. When you open that folder, the new downloaded ZIP archive will be highlighted. You will need WinZip or another ZIP-format supporting archiver to extract all the files from the downloaded archive onto the desktop. If you have WinZip, you can double-click on the ZIP archive to extract the compressed Simplebean Health Guide Installation Package. If you do not have a ZIP-format supporting archiver, you can download WinZip here. The instructions for downloading and installing WinZip are similar to these.

The instructions for extracting files from a ZIP archive differ by archiver, and even by operation modes within WinZip. Your goal is to extract all the files within the ZIP archive into C:\Arch\ or another directory of your choice. You will either choose the Extract icon and select all files for extraction or follow the wizard to accomplish the same goal.

The following files will be extracted from the archive:

Setup.exe- Windows installer. Executing this file will install the Simplebean Health Guide.
Setup.ini- Windows installer configuration file. You do not need to modify this file.
SetupSb.msi- Windows installer package.
Readme.txt- Important information you should know including hardware and software requirements, known program issues, and contact instructions
License.txt- The license agreement you accept by using our product
pad_file.xml- Portable Application Description document providing product descriptions and specifications to webmasters and program librarians

You have now successfully downloaded and installed the Simplebean’s Health Guide. To run the Simplebean Health Guide, select Start, then Simplebean, then Simplebean Health Guide or click on the Simplebean Health Guide shortcut on the desktop. If you have any questions, please contact us.
